FAQ

What is the single best early tip for Build the Pyramid!?
Redeem the codes first. WELCOME alone gives 500 Speed and 500 Strength — hours of early gym progress for ten seconds of copy-paste. No training route beats free boosts.
Should I train Speed or Strength first in Build the Pyramid!?
Raise both. Speed shortens each trip; Strength raises the load per trip — blocks per minute depends on the two together. If one feels maxed relative to the other, train the weaker one.
Does it matter where I place blocks on the pyramid?
The structure is shared, so placing where the build needs blocks helps the whole server finish sooner — and finishing pyramids is what makes your character stronger.

Ten tips for Build the Pyramid!, ordered by how much time they save. Everything here follows from the game’s official mechanics — carry blocks, train two stats, complete pyramids together — so these age well as updates ship. Each tip links the page that goes deeper.

1. Redeem codes before your first training session

This is the tip. WELCOME gives 500 Speed and 500 Strength; UPDATE15 reportedly gives 50,000 Coins plus 25,000 Strength. That is hours of early progression for ten seconds of pasting. The full list with sources is on the codes page, and the redemption steps are in how to redeem codes.

2. Train Strength and Speed together

Blocks per minute = load per trip × trips per minute. A pure-Speed character shuttles featherlight blocks; a pure-Strength one power-walks with heavy ones. The players who move the most blocks alternate the two stats rather than maining one. The trade-off is explained in the training guide.

3. Treat the gym as a between-trips activity

You do not have to choose between carrying and training. Carry while the gym feels slow, train when the carry route feels crowded — the two activities stack into a session that always progresses. Your first-session route, which interleaves both, is in the beginner’s guide.

4. Place blocks where the build needs them

The pyramid belongs to everyone, and it completes when the server fills it. Dropping your block where the structure is short — rather than wherever is closest — pulls the completion moment closer for all 50 players. Since completing pyramids makes you stronger, altruism here is mechanically self-interested.

5. Re-check codes after every game update

The studio has tied codes to updates so far — UPDATE15 followed a patch — so each update is a fresh-code event. Bookmark the codes page; its status changes are dated rather than guessed.

6. Spend Coins on what multiplies carrying

Coins from codes and playtime matter most when they raise your blocks-per-minute or unlock training that does. What purchases exist and which are worth it first is covered in the upgrades overview; how Coins are earned is in the coins guide.

7. Let your eyes read your Strength

Your character strains under heavy loads — that animation is a live readout of your current limit. When carrying stops looking like a struggle, your Strength has outgrown that load; time to train again or take a bigger block.

8. Play the same server for a session, not a minute

Pyramids complete faster with a consistent group. Hoping between servers resets the social momentum — staying put means the players around you learn the routes at the same pace you do.

9. Use whatever device is nearest

The game supports desktop, console, mobile and tablet, and the loop is identical on each. A phone session between things adds up; the platform notes are in console and mobile.

10. Read the mechanics, not just the tips

Every tip above falls out of understanding the loop — pick up, carry, train, complete, get stronger. The full mechanics walkthrough is in how to play Build the Pyramid!, and the overview of what the game even is, is in what is Build the Pyramid!?

FAQ

The questions above answer the three we hear most: best first tip (codes), which stat first (both), and block placement (where the build needs them). More common questions are answered on the wiki FAQ page, and anything we have not yet verified in game is labelled rather than guessed.
